From Macedonia to Montenegro, With a Quick Stop in Kosovo

It’s been another couple of weeks since I updated you last. In my previous update, we were still in Skopjë, completing dental work. We stayed for another week beyond that update, so I didn’t have much to tell you about that. But this past week has been one adventure after the other, and we are so happy to be back to moving around and seeing new things again.

We are now in the process of making our way up to Belgrade, Serbia, because we are flying from there to Paris (and then back to Canada) on February 27th. After Matthew David recommended that we see Prizren, Kosovo (and he was the second person to do so), we decided to head there and then would decide where to go next. Initially, we figured that we might stay in Prizren for a while and then head back to Skopjë. From there, we would travel directly to Belgrade by bus.

But when we realized that we could reach the coast in such a short amount of time and get a break from the cold weather, we decided to head to Montenegro instead. No matter how long we are in Europe, we will never get used to the short travel distances between countries!
