It’s been a couple of weeks since I updated you last. When I left you in my last update , I was recovering from being sick — or so I thought. Unfortunately, I laid in bed for another 4 days after that, trying my best to injest vitamin C, ginger, oil of oregano and all other natural remedies that I could get my hands on.

I was supposed to have dental appointments all week but I kept cancelling until I finally went to the clinic with Chris on Friday, January 24th. Chris had his appointment first, and while I sat and waited, my incessant cough continued. When it came time for me, the dentist told me that my cough didn’t sound good and he didn’t think it would be good for me to get any dental work done. Instead, he told me he was certain that, by the sounds of it, I needed antibiotics.

I had been feeling pain between my shoulder blades and suspected that I had some sort of bronchial infection. So I was actually relieved when he offered to write me a prescription for antibiotics instead of telling me to go see a doctor. Within a couple of days, I was…
