Last week I left you as we had just arrived to Sarandë, a quiet city in southern Albania that looks across to Corfu, Greece. Initially, we were content to stay here for a while, but as the days wore on, we found ourselves restless.
Albania has brought on an interesting wave of emotions in both of us. One day, we are really happy here, the next day, not so much. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what is happening, and we aren’t sure if we are discontent with the whole country or just this one town.
Either way, we are not 100% happy, so we have decided to move on. But you can read all about that in next week's update!
For now, let’s recap our week in this beautiful seafront location.
Wanting and needing a place to rest and recuperate after our hectic two months of travels through Western Europe, we have used this opportunity to do just that. Many days, we spent hours in our room getting caught up on writing, reading, and doing things that we had been putting off when we were just too darn busy.
