The shadows slide out as the light slips in — there’s no recovery of the equilibrium, here, beside great cracks in crust surface the mien of despair — oh what an ugly face you have —

shot through with rage dissatisfaction — holes in every garment, like an argument waiting to hold some water — tilted the way of some trees, found excursions to consciousness
