Sensed but didn’t feel
the body with the right hand
grabbing at the stalks of temerity
with a vigour
that had once been dismissed
It was a damned
and it spiraled into the search
for the diamonds
we’d left behind
The rubble of noise followed
changing daylight
making us all synaesthesic
Divorced by a wandering
climbed hills to further catastrophe
the meaning of the joke
long gone
and noticed too now that there’s
