I need to start getting more creative again!!!

Writing prompt:

Aug 11. HELPED are those who create anything at all, for they shall relive the thrill of their own conception, and realize a partnership in the creation of the Universe that keeps them responsible and cheerful.

Who else has felt that they could accomplish more enjoyable things lately?

When you make time for your craft, you return back to your childhood and happiest moments. ~Marlenny Linda

I’ve decided that nonstop researching about how to succeed all the time is only getting to get me so much! I have missed out on serious music time worrying about things that will have solutions eventually.

I made this list to remind myself there is more to life than work and responsibilities.

I feel the need to create things I can’t even describe! It’s wild, but my brain is on overdrive lately.

Writing Goals, start small!

  • Continue the “blog your way to your first 1k Elna Cain course” each morning; the morning is more manageable and quieter.
  • Research short forms on medium and start writing shorter too! Practice 5–8 short weekly posts of 150–300, 500 max, words with compelling images and exciting things that solve problems or inspire.
  • Research rules for each publication recently joined and ensure to follow publication guidelines. Make tons of friends while reading articles too! Claps, share, follow, join!

Music therapy heals new and old wounds

  • Schedule monthly posts and stories using Canva and meta business suite.
  • Complete three collabs a week on the Bandlab app before Sunday.
  • Work on longer creative music covers to make at least two full music videos for youtube. From these videos, make shorts and have 4–5 ready to go.

Yoga, health, and workouts to elevate yourself

  • 30 minutes for yoga and diastasis recti workouts for mummy tummy
  • 30-minute weight lifting interactive workout
  • Aim to drink more water, naturally flavor water with fruit. Yum!

Good Food, seriously, GOOD food

  • Plan and prepare exciting and appealing colorful food!
  • Make healthy dairy-free meals, and try mouth-watering vegan dishes.
  • Use a homemade menu for creative dinner night ideas made with family.

Short and sweet, and hopefully, I’ll tackle more music soon. I tend to overwhelm myself with really long lists, haha I don’t know why!

There are so many activities to do in a day that choosing just a few is tough. However, focus on what your spirit is telling you and listen to it.

Spending the little moments appreciating the simple yet blissful gifts of life is wonderful, like hugging my son and our 2-year-old FIV cat, Gadget. He’s always inspecting something!

Fall is coming, and I can’t wait!
