“117. Both Ends of Correspondence”

Wind,
Sunlight’s courier, unseen,
Carries south’s fragrances to Cloud serene.

Sunlit solitude, where Cloud has been,
Melancholy harbored, deep within.

Cloud,
To moonbeams, she leans,
Sending northward thoughts, a silent scene.

Wind’s lament, softly keen,
Railing strikes in regret, in between.

Aside:

Every gust of wind carries a secret, every cloud formation a response; they converse in whispers too soft for the world to hear, yet loud enough to echo through the chambers of the heart.
