STACCATO
NATIONAL JAZZ MONTH
In the jazz’s realm,
Staccato bursts ignite.
Notes sharply cut,
With rhythmic bite.
Short, detached,
Each sound stands alone.
Piercing, precise,
In staccato’s tone.
Trumpet blasts,
Saxophone cries.
Keys struck swiftly,
A piano’s surprise.
Drums snap, crack,
With rapid fire.
Bassline thumps,
A driving desire.
Jazz’s heartbeat,
In staccato’s might.
Slicing through air,
With sheer delight.
Rapid-fire rhythm,
Quick and bold.
Staccato’s tale,
To be told.
Unleash the staccato,
Let it take flight.
In bursts of sound,
Embrace the light.
Feel the energy,
In each note’s span.
Staccato’s power,
A sonic command.
So let the music play,
In staccato’s art.
A symphony of bursts,
Straight to the heart.
