With topics inspired by the Creative Arts Community. Art, Music, Writing, Featured Artist, Artist Opportunities, and Business. ArtS o’ Magazine is a publication that is open to all writers, both new and established.
We would like our writers to focus on the following topics:
- FINE ART: Fine art includes, but is not limited to, painting, sculpture drawing, printmaking, digital art, photography, installation, performance (dance, acting, model muse, comedy, etc.), textile, and film. Feel free to share selections of all kinds, including new mediums.
- WRITING: We are looking for fluent or persuasive stories, poetry, articles, short form poems, and stories between 100 and 300 words. Communicate a single thought, memory, or message. (Exceptions will be made for well written haiku or short poems.)
- MUSIC: What new? What does music mean to you? What kind of music does your culture bring to the world? How to read music, how to write songs, how to play an instrument? You name it, we are looking for all things music. Share what you love, share what you know, critique music old and new. We’d love to hear what you are listening to.
- BUSINESS: Writing about creative business, work, sales, marketing, management, distribution, starvation, how to find work. How to write a CV, a press release, a bio, a book, a grant, or a proposal. Quality headshots, what agents are looking for, longevity, reinventing yourself, side hustles, art hustles, registering for acting and modeling agencies, aligning with galleries, clubs, and events. Share your knowledge. Make the journey easier for those that will follow.
- OPPORTUNITIES: You’ve got them, share them here. Paid artists residencies, paying gigs of all kinds. Educational and professional development opportunities. Sharing is caring. Keep your fellow artists in the know about who is hiring, who has grants and funding for the arts, ect.
- FEATURES: We want to highlight creatives of all kinds, in ways that will accentuate their projects and careers. Whether it’s a book they wrote, a play or movie they are in, an album/ single they are releasing, an art collection in a tiny gallery in and even smaller town. You name it, we want to hear about it and we want to add to their resume and exposure.

Here are the rules
Art o’ Magazine welcomes writers to the publication; please follow these submission guidelines.
- Agree to follow Medium’s Terms of Service and Rules. If you are new to Medium, please read them completely as not adhering to the rules means your writing won’t be accepted in Arts o’ Magazine.
- Credit all images appropriately, crediting the source. If you made it yourself, credit yourself. See example above. All photos must have a credit in order for your submission to be published.
Have at least a main photo on your submission, since it will show in the publication and draw attention to your writing. - Your writing must be YOUR writing. No spam, No recycled public domain , No AI. Your writing only.
- You can submit self-published items here and monetize them.
- Must use this tag before you submit for publication: ArtsoMagazine or it will be rejected.
- We advise that you use some of these tags before you submit for publication: ART, WRITING, MUSIC, FEATURED ARTIST, FINE ART, ARTIST RESIDENCY, ARTIST OPPORTUNITIES, BUSINESS, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. This will help us place your article in the appropriate page. Topics not accepted for publication: Degrading or hardcore erotica, violent, racist/ offensive selections, cryptocurrency, religious materials and politics. You get the point. . .Don’t be crude or not only will your selction be rejected you will be banned and blocked.
- Submit no more than three post per day, unless we have come to another agreement. Articles will be published in alignment with our scheduled releases.
