The Arts DAO Revolution: A Snapshot of Everything We’ve Accomplished So Far
Our first year in web3 was eventful, to say the least.
We’ve been busy.
Although it feels like it has been much longer, Arts DAO has now been in operation for one full year.
Over that time, we’ve worked hard to make Arts DAO the best Web3 community to be a part of in the middle east.
I think it’s safe to say, we achieved that.
The following is a compilation of all the major events and accomplishments of Arts DAO over the span of last year, in case you missed it.
Meet up at Kristel’s Studio
In September 2021, we hosted our first-ever event at Kristel Bechara’s studio. We were blessed to have more than 30 people show up and join us for drinks with the team and Kristel, who would later go on to design the art for what would become the Ethernal Gates collection.
Arts DAO x Crypto Champions Event at the Arts Club
On the 5th of December, we hosted our first big NFT collaboration event with the Crypto Champions. This marked the beginning of a series of future Arts DAO events with other big projects in the NFT space that would bring the Arts DAO brand to the broader web3 space.
Blockchain World by Helicon NFT
Anas and Danosch then shared the stage at Blockchain World Abu Dhabi, where they spoke to more than 3000 people about how to build in the NFT market using Twitter and discord marketing and the emerging space of web3.
Other speakers at this event included The Wolf of Wall Street himself — Jordan Belfort.
GHAF Capital x Arts DAO Party
Ghaf Capital Partners is one of the first locally managed blockchain / Web3-only private capital firms based in Dubai, and we had the honor of collaborating with them at the Bella Restaurant in Dubai.
This event was filled with fun, food, drinks, and even a little magic! We treated the community with some special guests, including the likes of Hubertos Thonhauser (Tezos Chairman), Alan Chiu (Founder & CEO of Boba Network), and Joel Dietz (CEO of Meta Metaverse).
Gary Vaynerchuk Meets Arts DAO
We were honored to host Gary Vee here in Dubai for a private meeting for our Arts DAO team and members of the community at the Arts Club Dubai.
He talked to us about where he sees the NFT space heading, Digital Land, and many other NFT-related topics.
Overall, this was a huge motivation for us to keep building after hearing all the amazing things he had to say about the web3 space going forward!
Arts DAO x PTFutures Lebanon Event
This was the first event we ever held in Lebanon in collaboration with PTFutures.
This event marked the first time Arts DAO branched outside of Dubai to host an event for our members.
Arts DAO x Project Black — Mercedes NFT
MContent is the team behind ‘Project Black’ the world’s first supercar ownership NFT series, where each of the 12 holders of their token are granted shared ownership of a $350,000 Mercedes Benz AMG GT Black Series. We had the fortune of collaborating with them and hosting the event for their official launch back in April 2022, which was a resounding success.
Arts DAO x Paradise Trippies + Royal Falcon Club Yacht Party
What happens when you put 100 degens on a yacht?
Well, we found out on the 15th of January when we hosted our first NFT Yacht Party with the community. The event was Sponsored by Paradise Trippies and the Royal Falcon Club, both projects that are part of the Arts DAO community.
Arts DAO x Doodles Community Yacht Party
We also had the pleasure of teaming up with blue-chip NFT collection Doodles, and their team for a sick yacht party. We made custom hats for the team and we partied like degens.
Doodles are a huge project in the NFT space right now with nearly 150,000 ETH ($265,100,000) in total volume since launch. So this was a massive collaboration for us and we are super honored to have so many Doodlers in our community.
Arts DAO x RTFKT Yacht Party
We also had the pleasure of hosting a Yacht Party the same week with RTFKT and their community of CloneX holders in Dubai. RTFKT, now owned by Nike are building out in both the metaverse and real world with its sneakers and massive community boasting over 1M+ followers across social media platforms.
This event was a lot of fun and a massive success, we even had a couple of people fly out of their country to attend, but that’s the kind of dedication you can expect to find in our communities.
Ethernal Gates Drop
In June 2021, we launched our NFT collection in collaboration with Kristel Bechara — The Ethernal Gates.
The private sale was a resounding success as we sold out within 10 hours, which absolutely blew us all away. This collection was our first-ever experience with launching an NFT from scratch and it went better than any of us could have dreamed.
The Ethernal Gates NFT is the official membership pass to the Arts DAO community where members get to enjoy access to holder-exclusive parties, discounts at events, members-only discord, and many more.
What we’re building here is on track to take over all of the Middle East.
Lil Baby Joins Arts DAO
Yes, it's true. Lil Baby is an Arts DAO member and still holds his token to this day.
Although, not a major event or accomplishment, it is still one of the coolest things of the past year to happen to Arts DAO.
Maybe one day you just might see him sipping a cocktail at one of our yacht parties.
Arts DAO Featured on CNN
Arts DAO was featured on CNN in a segment on decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs).
This was a huge honor for the brand because the moment this segment aired was the moment Arts DAO took off from a small web3 startup in the middle east to a recognizable brand that was here to represent the ENTIRE Middle East.
Anas and Danosch also made an appearance on national TV where they explained what DAOs are, the philosophy behind them, and much more.

Arts DAO wins Gulf News Web3 Award
This picture features Dr. Marwan Al Zarouni, the CEO of Dubai Blockchain Centre, awarding the prize for ‘Most Innovative NFT’ award to the “Ethernal Gates by Arts DAO” collection.
The award was designated to Kristel Bechara, our award-winning artist, and Anas Bhurtun, the CEO and Co-founder at Arts DAO.
We hope to add more trophies and accolades to the Arts DAO shelf.
NFTs We Bought
This year was expensive. But we’ve got an impressive collection of blue-chip masterpieces in the DAO treasury now. Here are a few highlight purchases we made this year:

These are a few highlights from the Arts DAO treasury, which as an Arts DAO member, you get fractionalized ownership over just by holding an Ethernal Gates Token.
That means you get a portion of the profits airdropped to you (coming next year) whenever we sell one.
The DAO treasury will continue to expand so we have only scratched the surface of the blue-chips that will be added to it down the line.
Arts DAO Community Meetups
Finally, when we’re not doing business, selling NFTs, and jumping up and down on overpriced boats, we like to hang out with our community.
Here are some of the things we like to get up to:
Meet and Greet at Farzi Café
This is a weekly recurring event for Arts DAO members and non-members to come together and get to know one another. The food and beverages are always amazing and Arts DAO members get a 20% discount on whatever they order!
These meet and greets happen every Thursday at 10 am so be sure to join us next time for some good coffee and even better vibes.
Yoga and Meditation Workshop
We also occasionally host yoga workshops where we come together to relieve stress and find peace within ourselves through yoga and meditation. The experience is always transformative and makes you feel reborn after a session.

Padel Tennis
Keeping fit through sports and teamwork is something people completely write off after they graduate from high school or university, but we’re trying to bring it back. So we decided to host a fun outing at Padel Point for a couple of intense matches of Padel Tennis.
As you can see, Arts DAO is a community that doesn’t just focus on making profits in web3 and degenerate yacht parties, but we’re also a community that prioritizes health and wellbeing, both mentally and physically.
Final Thoughts
It has been an incredible first year for Arts DAO, we’re so proud of everything we have been able to accomplish despite being in a bear market, amid a global recession.
Our grit and undying enthusiasm for this project come undoubtedly from the people that comprise it. We genuinely believe we have one of the best Web3 communities in the world. With A-list celebrities, influencers, young people, older people, artists, entrepreneurs, and people from all walks of life. We bring them all together, and with that family, you have access to a powerful network of people that can turn dreams into reality.
Year one is complete, but year two is when things get serious.
