An Ode to Creative Conversations

ArtSpark has joined up with Creative ABQ to co-sponsor a series of “Creative Conversations” here in ABQ. These Conversations are a different kind of gathering as we celebrate and dialogue about the spectrum of creativity in our community, ranging from creative businesses to artistic creativity to social action. This Thursday at 5pm (tomorrow!) is a conversation with Marietta Leis and David Vogel about their recent artist residency in Finland. Conversationalists will meet at Marietta’s studio accompanied by wine and nibblies. The next Creative Conversation will be with The Grove Cafe and Market, a very luscious and successful business in ABQ’s EDo district where we all will gather in The Grove’s professional kitchen (YUM!).

The Creative Conversation series is inspired by Creative Mornings (started in NYC, now in many cities around the world), although we are more experimental with times of day, venues (how about a comedy show + beer?) and who/what we call creative.
