Artube reveals plans through ‘AMA’…”Please look forward to the creator’s profit system”

Artube, the next-generation blockchain media project, held an official ‘Ask me Anything(AMA)’ along with the cryptocurrency channel ‘What are you getting today’?

In this AMA, there were many questions about the reward system that the Artube Webtoon platform is preparing, future plans, and ultimate goals and visions.

Q1. What’s the specific process of Artube’s system that supports creators?

A. Currently, creators on the Artube webtoon platform can earn revenue through three general methods. The first method is ‘a formal contract between the creator and the platform’. It’s a usual method that platforms provide. Creators can receive a fair revenue through this. In addition, creators can receive a reward for their activities through the ‘incentive pool’. We plan to use this system to provide additional revenue to creators who engage in more activities. The last method is reader sponsorship. Readers can use Art-Point, internal money, to sponsor their favorite creators at their desired cost. We plan to continuously add systems that support creators besides these methods.

Q2. Artube is expanding to the NFT industry to meet the market trend. When do you plan to launch the NFT Marketplace?

A. Artube’s NFT Marketplace will be implemented with the aim to not only follow the market trend but also to achieve Artube’s vision to ‘maximize creators’ revenue’. According to the roadmap on our website, we plan to reveal the ‘Open Marketplace Alpha version’ in the third quarter of 2022. Starting with the Open Marketplace, you will meet the creators’ work on the Artube webtoon platform and various digital content as NFTs. We hope you look forward to the NFT Marketplace that has Artube’s unique color.

Q3. What does Artube consider as the most important work right now?

A. Currently, Artube considers meeting customers through the launch of the webtoon platform on September 28 as the most important. All employees are working hard in their respective tasks to achieve this. We also have good news planned regarding the webtoon platform in line with the official service, so we hope you will look forward to them.

Q4. Readers participating on the Artube platform can earn revenue through diverse activities. How is the verification conducted on these activities?

A. We think many people will be interested as this is related to revenue. First, all activities that readers participate in, such as event participation, marketing support, leaving comments, and webtoon translations, are verified through the Artube platform’s proof method and recorded on the blockchain. Artube provides rewards and benefits to participants by referring to this record. As this proof method may be difficult, we are preparing to introduce a convenient system so that any Artube member can get confirmation on their activities.

Q5. Does Artube limit its activity scope to webtoons? Please share if you plan to widen the scope to other areas, such as music and artwork.

A. No. Webtoons are only the beginning of the Artube platform. Artube Project ultimately aims to become a ‘seamless media platform’ where people can meet all digital media content in one place. We plan to go beyond webtoons and web novels to create an OTT platform like Netflix, and expand our activities by developing additional platforms in other areas, such as music and artwork.

Q6. Please explain in detail the structure of the Artube platform’s incentive pool.

A. Many people are curious about the incentive pool. To explain it simply, a certain amount of fees is generated when creators exchange their Art-Points earned as revenue on the platform to ATTs. Artube invests a portion of the fees in a separate space to maintain the ecosystem, which is the ‘incentive pool’. We plan to use this to reward creators and readers based on their activity history and contribution level. As the platform grows and the trading amount increases, we expect the value of ATT, which connects the Artube platform with the external ecosystem, to naturally increase.

Q7. Securing various content is necessary to gain competitiveness as a total digital media platform. How is Artube preparing for this?

A. Currently, we are discussing with various companies on securing content in time for the platform’s official launch. We are working hard to prepare for this, so we will share the good news very soon. Q8. What are Artube Platform’s vision and ultimate goal?

A.
