Welcome back dearest artists. Today I want to give you a better insight about our day-to-day activities by telling you how we work and what our purpose is beside making art available for everyone.

As you might know already, we like to promote different initiatives and projects and we often ask our artists to participate to help us share important messages. So, by taking part to our projects, you will be able to make a positive impact in people’s lives as well as raising awareness for significant topics: all of this, thanks to you and your art. 🎨

Participating to our initiatives could be a great chance for you because:

  • Sharing is caring.. but it also increases visibility: when you join one of our initiatives, you might see your profile being shared to almost 30,000 followers on our Instagram profile and more than 2,000 fans on our Facebook page;
  • People can find you, discovering your profile and style through us, and they may buy one the artworks you are selling on our platform;
  • People might like your style so much that they are going to ask you to complete a Custom Painting for them;
  • When you participate to our projects, you have the chance to have articles written about you, your motivation and inspiration, and your artworks on our blog.

Would you like to know more about our latest initiatives we poured our heart in?! Well, I have the answer for you down here ⬇

Our first project was our Tribute to Kobe and Gianna Bryant, both tragically passed away on Sunday the 26th of January. An initiative we took by heart, with a profound will and determination to commemorate this true legend along millions of people around the world. We asked our artists to realise artworks that could embody this champion and the memory he left behind. We received many artworks who remembered the late NBA champion 🏀, the symbol of an entire generation, and his beloved daughter. It was truly hard for us picking which paintings would end up being published on our social media profiles.

After, we launched a project regarding International Women’s Day held on the 8th of March. We asked our artists if they had an artwork “Woman and Womanhood” themed they wished to promote on our social media channels, what inspiration they had in realising that artwork, why it was so important to them and what International Women’s Day meant to them. We got several entries: it was beautiful to see so many people keen and involved in sharing a positive message for all women around the world. We wrote an article about it, have a look at it here. 👩🏻👩🏽‍🦱👩🏽‍🦰👩🏿‍🦳👩🏽‍🦲👱🏼‍♀👵🏼🧕🏾

Then, we put our eyes and energy on World Water Day.💧 Since day one, Artupia has always had a strong desire in increasing awareness towards climate change and environmental issues. We are living in a warmer and drier world and, if we don’t act quickly with drastic measures, the next generation isn’t going to have the chance to live in the wonderful world we have had so far. This is why we asked our artists to share with us their best/favourite water themed artwork. We hope you like our amazing article too. Plus, have a look at the post on our social media channels!

Of course we couldn’t ignore what has been happening lately in the world, especially in Europe and Italy. Covid-19, better known as Coronavirus, has been spreading leaving behind thousands of people forcing Governments to take strong and hard measures that led into quarantine for all inhabitants of not only Italy, but the majority of Countries in Europe as well as the US. 🦠🧫🔬😷

In recent history, the world has never seen a virus like this, something that has forced authorities to close borders and declare a complete lockdown for several Nations. Even in this sad time, we wanted to show our support by sharing a positive message. How we did that? Well, long story short, we came up with not one but two initiatives:

  • We launched the campaign “If you cannot beat it, better paint it!” asking our artists to realise or share with us an artwork based on humanity’s behaviours and feelings towards Coronavirus, explaining to us why they thought it was relatable to this pandemic. Find the article we wrote about the topic here and check out our Instagram post;
  • We decided to create an e-book for adults and children to colour and we put it on sale at a cost of 3€. All proceeds will be donated to Policlinico di Milano, to help them meet the huge demands to fight Coronavirus. If you want to contribute as well, please click here to buy the e-book. 🤗

What are you waiting for, then?!
