Future business models of 3D printing discussed at Danish AM Summit

Docken hosted the Danish AM Summit on a sunny and beautiful albeit windy Wednesday late in October.
The overall goal for the conference was to inspire growth, innovation and sustainable solutions. The 2018 version of the AM Summit is the largest Additive Manufacturing and 3D print conference in Scandinavia and they focus on the production of the future as well as business strategy.
ARYZE CEO Jack Nikogosian was invited by Mads Kjøller Damkjær, CEO of the Danish AM Hub, to speak about the future business models. Together with Tom Salfield, CEO of Wikifactory, and Jeremie Pierre Gay, CEO of Create it REAL, Nikogosian touched upon how the traditional way of serving markets will change and what the implications for traditional plant setups and value chains will be.
Ingeborg Rosenvinge, Head of R&D and AM at Thürmer Tools, moderated the session and she raised the question of how intellectual property law will be dealt with in the future using blockchain technology and innovative software.
