Strong stories from Women in Fintech

ARYZE hosted Women in Fintech where the keen audience heard some very interesting and inspiring stories from four strong women in the business.

Raya Slavova, Louise Ferslev, Carla Fabbro and Maria Flyvbjerg Bo

Despite the Danish weather suddenly taking a turn for the worse an enthusiastic crowd of more than 30 women and one male showed up for Women in Fintech.

None of them seem to regret it as they witnessed four interesting tales from Raya Slavova from ARYZE, Louise Ferslev from MyMonii, Maria Flyvbjerg Bo from Spenderlog and Carla Fabbro.

After the presentations there was a Q&A with the audience that contained some very strong profiles. The evening ended with break out sessions where the participants really got to network and talk, and all through the evening there was a great energy in the room.

Raya Slavova, ARYZE

Raya Slavova

Project Manager at ARYZE with experience from Malta and Malaysia and holds a degree from Denmark in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Her expertise is in startups, operations and tech and her current focus is on building processes and creating structure in ARYZE. Raya’s greatest interest is technology advancements and the way that they are brought up to the mainstream market.

Carla Fabbro

Carla Fabbro

After living and establishing strong networks in France, Canada, China and Sweden, Carla has settled in Copenhagen. She invests passion, time and energy in projects that she believes positively impact communities in the Nordics and Europe. She applies her experience building networks and brands towards implementing innovative concepts for corporates, large-scale organizations, or even universities.

She co-founded Women at Electrolux, the official diversity network of Electrolux Group, and founded The Baash, a Stockholm-based company helping starting and established female entrepreneurs get support, credibility and visibility. She is now a speaker for conferences and events revolving around entrepreneurship and impact investment, and is working on a Nordic initiative helping underrepresented founders get access to capital.

Maria Flyvbjerg Bo

Maria Flyvbjerg Bo

Maria has 12+ years of experience in entrepreneurship where she founded and co-founded several businesses and sold with profit. She co-founded Hufsy, a fintech startup that is building the future banking platform for businesses. Before that, Maria helped establish EVRY Financial Services’ Innovation Lab. She is one of the co-founders of Nest Copenhagen, a co-living space for entrepreneurs. you can tweet her at @MariaFlyvbjerg.

Louise Ferslev

Louise Ferslev

Louise Ferslev is the founder and CEO of the fintech company MyMonii. She is also a part of the founding and operating team at Women in Tech DK. Louise is a part of the government’s entrepreneurial panel and is in general very involved the startup environment in Copenhagen, as for example judge in competitions, speaker to events and mentor for founders. In 2016 she was named one of the 50 most inspiring women in tech in the nordics and in 2018 as The Entrepreneur of the year.
