Museums throughout New York City and Paris are presenting a significant number of captivating exhibitions, making summer art fairs something like a distant after-thought. 2018, so far, seems to be the year when these two historic capitals of the art market embrace their differences and similarities, revealing an art historical trajectory that lends more credence to contemporary art.
