If your mind was tormented, it did not show
In that portrait of flowers
With pigments which glow
On a canvas attacked with such masterful strokes
Rich colour on colour
The image evokes
A place that was tranquil, a view to enjoy
As your painterly skills
You began to employ
The scene came alive, as the paint left your brushes
