  1. Which proportion is larger, 25.6 of 32 or 160 of 200? Create a pair of pie charts in datawrapper to illustrate the difference?

The two proportions are actually the same, but we as humans see the larger number as being more acceptable. Out of the two, we would pick 80 as the more preferable one.

Streaming audio is one of the most competitive media markets. According to search interest, how has audio streaming changed in the last 10 years? How might you explain these trends? (hint: think about how companies have responded to changes in technology and consumption patterns)

Over the past 10 years audio streaming sites have adapted to what their audiences have the most interest in. Spotify has peaked over the years because they have made it cheaper to purchase Spotify premium and have also added things like Hulu and Showtime at a lower cost. Sites like Limewire used to give people viruses on their computers so other audio streaming sites found ways to where people didn’t have to necessarily download the music anymore they could just listen right off of their site.

3. Download the College_Pricing.xls dataset from BB lab page. Scroll through the Table of Contents page and get a feel for what the dataset contains. Navigate to Table 2A. What has happened to the 4-year average price of education over time? How do private universities differ from public institutions in terms of change in cost over time?

Over time, tuition as a whole has increased dramatically. Private schools and Public Four-Year universities differ because Private school tuition has skyrocketed while Public schools have increased as well just not as much.
