Movie Review: Captain Marvel (2019)

I haven’t seen Room, so I can’t really talk about Brie Larson’s worthiness of her Oscar. But she is awful in this. She’s incredibly bland, and the movie would be a lot more enjoyable with even an ounce of charisma from the lead.

The action is alright, but the story isn’t remotely interesting. The nonlinear storytelling makes the movie lose any sense of emotional impact or suspense.

It’s an alright movie, but definitely nothing special, and bringing in the Avengers’ most powerful hero right before Endgame is really the biggest misstep of the franchise.
