Movie Review: Cryptz (2002)

What would From Dusk Till Dawn look like with no budget and almost exclusively black actors? That must have been asked in the pitch meeting for Cryptz, and for what it’s worth, I’m kind of glad they asked it.

Cryptz definitely isn’t great, but it has a few scenes that really deliver on the low budget gore. And the main characters — all aspiring rappers — were pretty likable. I can’t possibly emphasize enough how much I love Tymez Skwair as a rapper name.
