Movie Review: Emmanuelle II (1975)

So there’s no real plot here, no real subtext. It’s just exactly what it is. And it starts off pretty rocky, with a woman recounting how she was raped by three women, and ended up enjoying it, which Emmanuelle (Sylvia Kristel) takes as an invitation.

Kristel does a good job here, and the supporting cast for the most part is very good, too. I think it may be significantly better made than the original, but it’s still no masterpiece.
