Movie Review: Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack (2001)

This has to be one of the worst movie titles in history, right?

You know, I have never been a fan of Baragon before, but dammit, he looks great in this movie, the reintroduction of him to this series, anyway.

All the other costumes continue to look really good, of course, and this generation of Godzilla films always does a fine job of showing the destruction of these monsters from the perspective of individuals on the ground. That’s definitely what the recent American Godzilla films have been going for, but here it’s done without sacrificing the monster action we want to see.

Well, I guess now that I think of it, I don’t like the millennium look of Ghidorah. His necks are too short; he just looks weird.

The music is one of the highlights here. And the action is as fun as you’d expect.
