Movie Review: Guns Akimbo (2019)

This definitely feels like it’s made by the same director as Deathgasm. It’s a fast-paced dark comedy that’s action-packed, and a bit too video game-y at times.

But it is rather fun.

And when Samara Weaving is onscreen, it’s fantastic. She’s just so perfect for her role as psychopathic killer and cult celebrity Nix.

The film’s satire doesn’t work that well, but the action is entertaining, and the two lead performances are very enjoyable.
