Movie Review: Hard Rock Zombies (1985)

Yikes. There’s not much to say about this one. It’s about a rock band that goes to play in a small town that’s outlawed rock music and is sort of run by a cult of neo-Nazis. Eventually, the band are killed and become zombies, but they’re not the only zombies wandering around.

That sounds like a crazy premise, but the movie really doesn’t end up being as fun as it should be with a premise like that. It’s mostly rather dull, and the comedy misses almost all the time.

It felt like a chore to sit through. The zombie makeup was acceptable, but that’s about the only mildly redeeming aspect.
