Movie Review: Light the Fuse…Sartana Is Coming (1970)

On the surface, this is basically a ripoff of The Good, the Bad & the Ugly. It’s tough to be too upset about that when Sergio Leone’s first film in the Dollars Trilogy is a ripoff of Yojimbo, but this movie essentially has the same kind of plot, but with fewer interesting characters.
But we’ve got Sartana. And sometimes that’s all you need.
The movie provides plenty of excellent action, particularly in the last act. And it’s just so damn stylish and cool. I’ll never tire of these spaghetti westerns coming up with cool new places for people to pull guns from.
