Movie Review: Puppet Master: Axis of Evil (2010)
If there’s something positive I’ve got to say about this movie, it’s that it’s an improvement over the last couple of entries. I still haven’t seen Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys because for some reason, that isn’t available streaming on Full Moon, and I couldn’t find it to rent either. But this series had been going downhill.
This is sort of a return to form in the sense that it sort of feels like a real movie. It’s not some lame anthology shit.
Now it’s definitely not good, and I found it to be incredibly bland. It’s annoying to me how boring DeCoteau got throughout the course of his career. Young DeCoteau could make bad movies entertaining, but middle aged DeCoteau is always looking for the least amount of work to do.
