Movie Review: Puppet Master: Axis Termination (2017)

As expected, you can really see the lack of budget here. I don’t even know which numbered entry this is. I’m not all that sure what’s going on with the story at this point, but thankfully, it’s got Nazis, so you don’t really need to know what’s going on. It’s just puppets against Nazis, and Nazi puppets, and evil Nazi ladies with needle fingers.

This is at least a very fun addition.

Some of my favorite stuff here is kind of the result of the lack of budget, too. I like the fun stylistic lighting. It feels very cheap, but it looks kind of nice, and it hides a lot of the weaknesses of the sets and locations.

That having been said, it’s really not a good movie. It’s just not that entertaining.
