Movie Review: Puppet Master X: Axis Rising (2012)

This movie’s far from a masterpiece, but it’s a huge upgrade over how the series has been recently, if you ask me. It’s kind of fun and exciting, even if it looks super cheap. It looks a lot better than other 21st century Full Moon films I’ve seen.

They pull off the sexy Nazi character quite well, to be fair.

Though I can’t deny that the puppet effects are lacking. This is some of the worst puppet action there’s been in the series.

But the puppets are still incredibly satisfying. Seeing Toulon’s puppets get in fist fights with Nazi puppets is great, especially with how fake the sound design is.

Rating: 5/10
