Movie Review: Raw Justice (1994)

--

Bounty hunters, some fun stunts, and incredibly gratuitous sex scenes are the appeal of this direct-to-video action thriller.

The movie has a pretty good cast for a movie like this. It’s filled with the likes of David Keith, Leo Rossi, Charles Napier, Stacy Keach, Robert Hays, and the real reason to see this movie: Pamela Anderson.

She looks amazing, clothed or not.

In the very amusing (albeit far too long) opening scene, a bounty hunter named Mace (David Keith) borrows the outfit of hooker Sarah (Anderson) in order to catch someone who has jumped bail. It doesn’t work, and the chase goes on forever, but you’d almost think this would be the last we see of Pam, were it not for teh poster and the movie’s reputation for aggressive sex scenes. Because she shows back up about a half hour later, demanding her clothes back, only to end up going along for the ride with Mace and innocent-but-accused-killer Mitch (Robert Hays).

Anderson has a surprising amount of chemistry with Keith, but really doesn’t have any with Hays. And it’s downright awkward to see this sex symbol get down and dirty with the star of Ariplane.
