Movie Review: Slithis (1978)

I like a bad monster movie as much as anyone, but usually you at least hope for something interesting when the monster’s not on screen. And here, we just don’t have that. Bad acting, boring, lifeless characters. It’s just not very fun.

And the monster itself…well, it’s a monster.

It’s a bad costume, it’s not shot well — you know, the things you’d expect from a movie like this. And when it’s on screen, these are really the only times the movie has any kind of personality, and there’s not much of it.

Mostly this movie’s just boring. I’ve seen worse monster movies, but not too many.
