Movie Review: The Boogeyman (1980)

Slashers don’t always mix with the supernatural too well. Sure, there’s Freddy, and I guess even Child’s Play, but I’m sure there are plenty more examples of this working out horribly.

It feels like it’s ripping off several different movies in almost entirely different genres. There’s definitely some Halloween in there, but also The Exorcist.

It’s not all that interesting, but there are some enjoyable and effective moments, like the two kills in the car.
