Movie Review: The Dead Pool (1988)

It’s difficlut to say that Eastwood is too old for this, when the guy was still acting in movies 20 years later, and still making movies over 30 years later. But he didn’t direct this, and I think he probably should have. It would have been a better movie.

This is the weakest of the Dirty Harry films, for sure. It’s fairly boring, and it doesn’t even have a great catchphrase like Sudden Impact, which was also kind of boring.

There is one scene where the movie truly shines, though, and that’s a car chase involving a small remote controlled car. Utilizing San Francisco for this kind of thing can’t go wrong, and it’s a shame the series didn’t do more of that.

But other than that, the movie is pretty forgettable.
