Movie Review: The Dead Pool (1988)

This is certainly the least interesting movie in the Dirty Harry series. While the fourth one isn’t that great, at least it gives us the “Go ahead, make my day” line. This one doesn’t give us much.

It does give us pre-fame performances from both Jim Carrey and Liam Neeson, but Carrey’s is just weird, and Neeson doesn’t leave much of an impression.

The series was tired at this point. As weird as Jim Carrey is here, he’s at least something different. Otherwise, it’s the same shit, with very little charm.
