Movie Review: The Evil of Frankenstein (1964)

It’s a shame the monsters in this series always sucked so much. This is the closest we really get to the classic Jack Pierce makeup, and it’s just not very good still.
The movie’s okay, though. Any movie with Peter Cushing playing Dr. Frankenstein can’t be all bad. But it is a bit muddled, and the supporting cast leaves much to be desired.
It seems like a good half of the movie is all flashbacks, so the story is more than a little messy. But if you can let that fly, then you’re in for a good time.
