Movie Review: The Mummy’s Ghost (1944)

The Mummy’s Ghost certainly has its moments. It has a great ending and I like all the stuff at the beginning, but to be honest, most of the mummy stuff is kind of weak.

I guess there is something fairly lame about just a lumbering mummy limping around. It’s not scary, and the more the movie focuses on it, the funnier it gets.

Whenever Lon Chaney Jr.’s Kharis is on screen by himself, it is pretty silly.

All that having been said, it’s a fairly entertaining movie, and at just 62 minutes, it’s probably worth your time.

Rating: 5/10
