Movie Review: Weird Science (1985)

Weird Science is definitely dated, but it’s not nearly as bad as you might expect a movie about horny teenage boys inventing a woman would be. It’s only a little creepy.

The movie actually has a decent message to it, and its characters are pretty well defined. Anthony Michael Hall is pretty good, Kelly LeBrock is pretty great, and you gotta love Robert Downey, Jr. as the bully.

Unfortunately, it’s just not that funny. Anthony Michael Hall’s good for a few laughs, and the biggest ones come from LeBrock, but that’s about it.
