Original air date: March 13, 2019
Director: Joshua Butler
Writers: Jay Gard and Alex Raiman

Rating: 6/10

It’s been a really long time since I saw anything from this series because I’ve been MIA for a while, so the whole “previously on” recap was really appreciated. I’m not sure I entirely got it, though.

The library’s evil, I guess. Sure, they were shady, tying Penny down for as long as they did. But now Alice is fighting against them, convincing her mom to use a voodoo fuck doll, which is a really fun scene.

The title of the episode refers to the quest that Fen finds herself on, eventually joined by Margo, which has them doing yardwork for a seer that is eventually exposed by Margo as a fraud, with her no-bullshit approach.

I don’t know if it’s just being away from the series for a while or whatever, but Margo was definitely my favorite character in this episode, and I don’t remember her being that ever in the past.

Well maybe it has something to do with the fact that all of our main characters that I haven’t previously mentioned are dealing with Poppy, who’s as usual pretty irritating.

She does her best to convince the others that she’s pregnant with a dragon’s baby, though Julia and Kady eventually find out that she just has an egg, which they return to the dragon at the end of the episode.

I was reasonably entertained by this episode. It’s fun to see Kady and Julia call Poppy out on her bullshit, and the Margo and Fen quest is pretty fun so far.
