Our heart (and headquarters) are in San Francisco, but we believe that our success depends on having a diverse team with a variety of perspectives, backgrounds, and hometowns. That’s why the Asana Design Team is hitting the road to discover talented designers in Chicago, IL from Oct 23–26 and Austin, TX from Nov 6–9. If you’re passionate about creating products that make the world work better together and are looking to relocate to San Francisco — paid for by us, of course — then we want to meet you.

Why Asana?

Our mission is all about collaboration. Every great discovery, breakthrough, or creation was made by a team. At Asana, you’ll design experiences that amplify the effects of teamwork.

Asana’s mission is to enable all teams to work together effortlessly

We’re changing how teams work together

Collaboration can be tough. Often the information we need to do our jobs is scattered and responsibilities are unclear. We try to cut through the chaos with not so successful tactics like endless meetings and micromanagement, ending up with even less time and not much more clarity. That’s why we’re building tools to make teamwork effortless.

Work shouldn’t be chaos

We’re building a place where everything in your workflow, from the most immediate details to the big picture, are organized. With Asana, each person knows what they should be doing and why. This clarity, transparency, and focus allows teams to collaborate with less friction and produce great results.

We believe coordination should be as effortless between people as it is between our own brains and bodies, that people should be appreciated, and love what they do.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for driven and creative Product Designers and Design Managers to join our team and help turn our mission into a reality by designing the end-to-end experience for Asana users. We’re a tight-knit, collaborative group of designers who love combining research, data insights, and peer feedback into a user-centered design process. This includes starting from first principles to define a problem, through generative ideas and directions, to detailed iterations of interaction design.

Asana is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that is growing thoughtfully with just over 330 people. You’ll be working on a meaningful mission alongside some of the best talent from Google, Facebook, Atlassian, Dropbox, Airbnb, Apple, and many others. You’ll help foster a decentralized decision making culture where everyone is encouraged to speak up on critical decisions and get involved in the entire product process, from concept to post-launch reflection.

Interested?

Does the above sound like it might be you? Then we’d love to hear from you. Our goal is to provide a hiring and working experience in which all people know they are equally respected and valued. So whatever it is that makes you unique — your gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, age, citizenship, educational background, socioeconomic status — we value it, and we’d love to see what you might add to our team.
