About the COVID-19 Toolkit
Small businesses are still trying to navigate COVID-19’s ‘new realities’ and are forced to make tough decisions every day. Searching through a vast amount of information can be difficult and time-consuming.
To meet the need of entrepreneurs in our Ascender Community, we’ve developed a COVID-19 Toolkit. With this toolkit, we aim to provide you with questions to help you understand where your business stands, give you easy access to curated resources to make informed decisions, and get you started with improving your business to adapt to the current environment. We don’t claim to know everything — this is a living toolkit that we plan to expand and add new resources to as we move forward.
Navigating the Toolkit
- Take some time to self reflect and analyze where your business stands.
- Follow the COVID-19 business journey map (developed by Ascender’s Entrepreneur-in-Residence Tammy Szijarto) and honestly answer the questions as they relate to your business.
- Work your way through questions 1–11. It’s helpful to write your answers down as you go and have your P&L statement handy.
- Explore and learn from the different resources we’ve curated and developed for you.
- Practice and adopt strategies that work best for you either from this toolkit or elsewhere. Only you can decide how to move your business forward.
