To help celebrate the listing of the Floki Inu Token (FLOKI), AscendEX’s Gage Bowser sat down for an AMA with FLOKI’s leadership team to gain more insight into the project’s success and strategy for the future.

Welcome @deloinabusi, happy to have you here for an AMA today. For those that are not familiar, can you briefly describe FLOKI and your mission?

Thanks for having me here, Gage! 🙂 AscendEX is a strong and well-respected cryptocurrency brand led by amazing people, and I’m excited about FLOKI’s recent listing on your exchange and the opportunity to chat with your community. FLOKI is the people’s cryptocurrency… — a movement that leverages the power of memes to appeal to the mainstream while providing solid utility.

FLOKI’s mission is to be the cryptocurrency of the people — and we’re doing that by adding actual value through strong utility products, making strong charitable moves that actually improve lives in the real world (FLOKI is currently building schools in four countries and is the second most charitable NFT project in the world right now!), and by having cool, fun memes!

Could you share the development status and progress of the project thus far? Maybe mention any partners FLOKI is working with?

B | Floki

FLOKI has very strong fundamentals and is quite robust when it comes to utility.

We’re working on four key utility projects that are due to be released soon.

Our flagship utility project is a PlayToEarn NFT Metaverse game named Valhalla. This has been in development for months now and great progress is being made.

The alpha version of this game that people can interact with should be out in Q1 of 2022 all things being equal.

A second key utility project in the works is FlokiPlaces, FLOKI’s NFT and merchandise marketplace currently in development — this marketplace will allow people to trade NFTs and merchandise using purely cryptocurrencies, with FLOKI being the main utility token.

All things being equal this should be live some time in January 2022.

The third project FLOKI is working on is Floki University; a crypto education platform aimed at educating the masses about crypto.

Right now, FLOKI is one of the most mainstream cryptocurrency brands — and will only become more mainstream. It’s only natural that a lot of people not familiar to cryptocurrency will be interacting with the FLOKI brand. This platform will help them get educated — and help people already into cryptocurrency advance.

We’re working on a fourth utility project that I won’t be revealing now as it’s actually a surprise (I love surprises!) and should be announced sometime this month all things being equal. This will be a real value add to this space as people will find out when it launches.

Furthermore, through strategic partnerships FLOKI is going heavy into DeFi.

We recently had an integration with Chainlink that saw them approve price feeds for FLOKI — of the top three memecoins (DOGE/SHIB/FLOKI), FLOKI is actually the only cryptocurrency that has this integration.

This move is a signal from the FLOKI team that we mean business, and thanks to this integration we already have partnerships and integrations in the works that will let people stake their FLOKI tokens as well as use it as a collateral to borrow stables, ETH, and USDT.

So essentially, when you combine all of the above FLOKI isn’t a “memecoin” in the sense of the word (other than the fact that memes are cool!) but an actual crypto ecosystem set on empowering people with crypto and helping them to take control of their finances.

there’s your hidden alpha everyone 🙊excited to see the progress as we go into the new year! Who will the users/clients be on your projects and what are some examples of use cases for them?

B | Floki

Absolutely.

Let me just say the way we think and work at the FLOKI team is this: we find real needs that affect everyday people and crypto lovers… and we solve it.

This fourth hidden utility project is proof of that — and interestingly it just might be the one to launch first!

The users of FLOKI’s projects will be:

- NFT lovers.

- Avid gamers.

- People who want to earn a living from gaming.

- Other cryptocurrency projects (I’m talking about the fourth utility project here!).

- General crypto lovers.

The thing is FLOKI is building an actually massive ecosystem — and we’ll be covering every sphere literally.

FLOKI will be the overarching brand, but part of the ecosystem will be the P2E game, education (is there anyone who really doesn’t want to learn?), DeFi (stake, borrow, lend, etc… so much fun!), and much more.

What is your strategy regarding attracting more users to your protocol?

B | Floki:

Well, FLOKI’s marketing redefines marketing — so that’s definitely a superpower. We’ve got a literal legend leading the team, backed by extremely capable and intelligent folks. For example, within mere months of FLOKI’s existence we have partnerships with 8 football clubs in almost all of the bigger leagues in the world.

For example, FLOKI is currently partnered with following football clubs that include:

- SSC Napoli in the Serie A

- Cadiz CF in La Liga

- Spartak Moscow in the Russian League

- Fenerbahce in the Turkish league

- Kerala Blasters and FC Goa in the Indian League

- FC Twente in the Dutch League

These partnerships alone give FLOKI such strong brand visibility that exposes FLOKI to billions of people.

When you then take a look at the strong marketing campaigns we have ongoing in over a dozen different nations of the world including the UK, Israel, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Nigeria, Ireland, the US, and several other countries, it becomes clear that the FLOKI marketing machine is one born to dominate. This gives us a very strong marketing positioning! Now, add to that the amazing strength and indomitable passion of the FLOKI Vikings and you have a winner.

FLOKI is barely 5 months old and currently has over 370,000 holders who use Decentralized Exchanges — possibly more on Centralized Exchanges! This army of FLOKI holders (called Vikings!) completely dominate the Twitter platform and everywhere else online. FLOKI is the only cryptocurrency (actually, only phenomenon other than COVID) that I personally know to have trended on Twitter for two weeks straight.

FLOKI trended on Twitter for four days straight this week, and we trend on Twitter literally every day now that it seems we only have to push a button. In reality, it’s the power and strength of the FLOKI Vikings at work. The Vikings go out and raid — online/on Twitter and in real life!

I chat with A LOT of Vikings (my DMs is full of messages I can barely catch up), and what excites me is the uncountable number of Vikings that have told me they’ve gotten 10, 20, or even 50+ people to become holders of the FLOKI cryptocurrency. I’ve lost count of the number of FLOKI Vikings who have gotten their entire family to get into FLOKI and become holders. So really, when you combine this with the explosive force of our marketing team… anything FLOKI makes is going to be widely adopted.

To illustrate my point, I’ll give a simple example:

Months ago (when FLOKI was MUCH smaller than we are now), we did an NFT fundraiser for a charity called Million Gardens Movement and put up 10,000 NFTs called Flokitars for sale. These NFT sale was done in what is essentially a sort of bear market and to people who weren’t very familiar with NFTs.

Guess what?

They sold out in 32 minutes.FLOKI raised $1.4 million and gave every cent to charity. Heck, we had so many Vikings got annoyed that they couldn’t buy — even though there wasn’t really an expectation of utility. It was for charity and they knew it. Now, imagine what happens when FLOKI drops actual utility!

Let’s talk about the current landscape of other projects doing something similar. What separates you from some of the competitors, like popular dog moneys DOGE and SHIB?

B | Floki:

So many! First is the FLOKI community — built differently. Positive, amazing, and indomitable.

Family!

Second is our strong utility focus. The Chainlink integration that I mentioned earlier, that only FLOKI has from the top 3 memes, is a good indication. In fact, FLOKI is the only “meme” coin with a Chainlink integration.

Third, and I think this one is essentially proven it’s clear even if I don’t say it, is our marketing. FLOKI has an impressive marketing machine working strategically to cement the FLOKI brand into everyone’s minds.

I never knew that before! Impressive that FLOKI is so young but already spreading onto multiple chains!

What unique experience does your team bring that puts floki in a position to be successful?

B | Floki

Besides the core strengths I have highlighted earlier, one of the things that differentiates FLOKI is our team spirit. There is a carefully cultivated culture in the FLOKI community that has led to a strong team-community bond. Core team members regularly engage in Voice Chats with the community, answering questions, interacting, making announcements, and just vibing. Core team members are engaged in the chat interacting, having fun, and exchanging memes with the community every single day. It’s one of the things that has made it easy for FLOKI to achieve what cryptocurrencies that have been in this space for years have been unable to. The team-community dynamic is just so different… that the Floki Vikings are willing to go any length to make stuff happen at the word of a core team member. This kind of dynamic is one of the strong attributes that positions FLOKI to be successful.

What does success look like for floki? What are the biggest risks and challenges floki will need to overcome to consider the project successful?

B | Floki

For FLOKI, success is a lot more than numbers going up — that isn’t our sole focus. Of course, with the level of impact FLOKI is going to make it’s clear where we will be, but success essentially looks like this:

  • Becoming the most popular cryptocurrency (or at least the second most popular if we give Bitcoin the fatherly respect!) that brings a significant number of new people into crypto.
  • Creating disruptive experiences that help people take charge of their lives and future through cryptocurrency; the FLOKI PlayToEarn NFT Metaverse game will empower millions and provide a source of income for them, for example.
  • Becoming the crypto-to-real world bridge that creates actual real world impact and experiences.

For example, FLOKI is barely five months old and already building schools in four different countries and is also the second most charitable NFT project in the world. You asked about our competitors earlier? Let them show their charitable records. And they have a significant headstart over FLOKI. FLOKI isn’t just paying lip service to doing good; we are pushing for a difference in countries and environments where core team members and many people in our community might never, ever visit… because that is the point at the end of the day! So success for FLOKI means making the world a better place, becoming the bridge that onboards the true MAINSTREAM into crypto, and empowering these people when they decide to make FLOKI their cryptocurrency of choice.

Can you please elaborate on the goals you are aiming to achieve in the remainder of 2021 or next year?

B | Floki

Regardless, ensuring visibility and adoption for FLOKI is something we are going about aggressively… and 2022 is going to be that year when people finally see the results of these efforts. More importantly, we’re going to spoil the Vikings with so much utility in 2022 that they are going to beg us to stop. When I say FLOKI is an ecosystem, damn hell I’m not joking! And this is to my Vikings in the house: FLOKI IS AN ECOSYSTEM! Repeat that after me, make sure it sticks, and get that out as our narrative going forward! AN ECOSYSTEM!

As a non-project-related question, which sector of crypto markets excites you the most?

Gage Bowser | AscendEX

Right now, only about 6 percent of all Internet users have a crypto experience. That means about 94% of Internet users do not own or have crypto yet…Just take a moment to think about that and how early we are — and what that means for FLOKI 😂😂😂 To get these massive amount of users to really experience crypto, though, there needs to be an insane amount of education. This is why crypto education excites me greatly, and I’m proud to say FLOKI will be disrupting in this area!
