Ascent Technologies Expands Executive Team with CRO and VP of Product
Chicago — Ascent Technologies, a leading regulatory technology (regtech) company, announced the hiring of two new executives as the company continues to grow and expand its offerings. Subha Sriram will serve as Vice President of Product, and Jeff Heine has joined as Chief Revenue Officer.

Sriram brings nearly 20 years of expertise in product management and agile software delivery. She comes to Ascent from SPR, where she worked as a Practice Advisor, serving as the information hub from product ideation through completion. As VP of Product at Ascent, she will work across the marketing, sales, data science, and regulatory intelligence teams to integrate data and user feedback to enhance Ascent’s regtech offerings.
Heine has extensive experience in creating new revenue streams for emerging solutions and markets, and consistently generating sizeable revenue contributions to Hi-Tech Companies. Previously, he served as the Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Operating Officer at vrsus, where he exceeded the company’s annual revenue goals by over 200%. This is Heine’s ninth early stage venture and many of those ventures include global experience. At Ascent, Heine will build and execute the go-to-market strategy and implement a plan for entering additional vertical markets.
Ascent uses AI and NLP to transform raw regulatory data into discrete actions for compliance departments. Ascent analyzes millions of data points from rules and documentation and works with customers to create a customized end-to-end regulatory process. For each customer, Ascent produces custom workflows, documentation, and compliance manuals uniquely tailored to the specific requirements of each firm. As regulators update their rules, each customer’s regulatory ecosystem is automatically updated through Ascent’s platform.
