After almost 5 years with the same logo, we are stepping outside our brackets and introducing an upgraded version of the Ascentic logo and brand. I’m thrilled to announce — the new visual identity of Ascentic!

The new Ascentic brand is a minimalistic representation of what we are all about: a company in constant movement that curiously seeks new and better ways of doing. We are a group of diverse mindsets and perspectives, joined by the will to innovate products and processes and the courage to not get stuck in convention. We are set on crafting the best possible products for the future, and we believe great technology and a closely knit team is the way to get there.

We keep keep it simple, we keep it real, and we never stop pushing for positive change.

Old logo to the left — new logo to the right

The mind behind the new logo and brand identity is our pixel artist Pathum Goonawardene. The logo was created in an internal logo challenge, where the crew was asked to come up with their best ideas of how to capture our values — Geeky, Gritty, Diverse, Courage and Family — into a new logo. Pathum says the following about the process of designing the logo:

“It was a great pleasure for me taking up the challenge to design a new logo for Ascentic. I believe a logo should be able to represent not only the company but also what they do and believe. Representing all these values using a simple and minimalistic design was a challenging task. But finally, we did it!”
