On September 28th, 2018 5:30 PM- 8:30 PM (GMT-7), the meetup co-hosted by Starfish Mission and ASCH was successfully held in Silicon Valley, USA. The meetup invited blockchain engineers and enthusiasts to share knowledge about blockchain development and applications.

During the meetup, James Kuai, ASCH Co-founder, gave a wonderful presentation with the theme of “Learn about DApp development with ASCH”, and demonstrated the design concept, advantages and cross-chain functions of ASCH, and introduced the development progress and future planning of the ASCH main chain and side chain, which gained unanimously favorable comment by the audience.

James said that ASCH is originally designed to reduce the threshold of developers and solve the problem of congestion, performance and scalability of the second-generation blockchain. Because the existing blockchain system performance is difficult to support commercial applications, such as slow transfer, smart contracts not smart, the high development and operating cost of Ethereum and other blockchains, ASCH team designs a multi-chain and cross-chain blockchain application development platform with high performance. Besides the ASCH main-chain and side-chains, other public-chains can also access the platform, which increases the feasibility of application innovation. In addition, users do not need to consider the base-level technology, they only need to care about the application and the incentive model to implement the DApp development at low cost and conveniently.

In addition, ASCH is designed to be secure, flexible, efficient, low-cost, and easy to reuse through the design of a multi-chain architecture. Optimization strategies of data fragmentation and parallel processing enable 1500+ TPS in each single application chain, and the use of DPoS+PBFT consensus mechanism can enhance fault tolerance, increase consensus stability, and reduce bifurcation. As a new generation of decentralized innovative application development platform, ASCH is by far the most mature implementer of cross-chain technology.

When it comes to cross-chain technology, he pointed out that cross-chain technology is the key to realizing value network, with the characteristics of fast speed, low transfer fee, and adding application scenarios of Bitcoin and other coins. ASCH has realized cross-chain interoperability with Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH), which truly realizes the first implementation of cross-chain technology in China.

As a public blockchain with the mainnet operated for more than two years, ASCH has a very large user base in China, and the global communities are also growing. The event was the first appearance of ASCH in Silicon Valley in the United States, which has enhanced the popularity and influence of ASCH in the global blockchain communities. At the same time, ASCH will also treat the United States as a major target in the global strategic layout, introducing more community enthusiasts and developers, seeking more chances to implement the blockchain application scenarios, as well as technical and commercial cooperation opportunities to seize this historical opportunity together.

Starfish Mission is the first Bay Area Blockchain community in San Francisco that integrates blockchain learning, community activities, and shared office, committing to building a community center that promotes the development, education, and collaboration of the blockchain industry.
