Trying to identify if your on the right path to happiness can be just as hard as maintaining happiness.

Happiness can come naturally to someone and they will be so used to being content and happy that they won’t have to do much to become even happier. But there is also a lot of people who are not completely satisfied with their lives. For these people, pursuing a life where there are changes can be difficult, especially if they do not see it going anywhere. Feeling happy is not something that can be forced or rushed. It is a very slow process with many different components.

  1. A huge part of becoming a new you and a happier you, is to take time. Take time for yourself, take time for others, and take time for the things you want. When this is achieved the feeling of selflessness will decrease causing one to feel better about themselves and their relationships.
  2. Another step to take to help with learning what your happiness is like is to not dwell on the past. To keep looking back and regretting old decisions does not make for a happy state of mind but will only worsen ones mood and cause lots of stress.
  3. The last main point to share is to let it come naturally. If you are doing what makes you happy with people that make you happy, then your genuine happiness will come to you in those things. But if you began to do these things and are eager to feel happy but have not experienced it, than you will never feel it. Good things take time.
