Letting Go

Think of all the important things in your life that make you, you. Now imagine not having that.

A part of finding and maintaining pure happiness is to let go of the things that are keeping you from this. Another aspect of it, is to be grateful for all you have because you never know when it could be taken from you. Letting go of things, good and bad, is a huge part in becoming a stronger and happier person. It could be hard at first but with time one will see it is all for the better.

Examples of Negative Things to Get Rid of:

  1. Bad friendships. This one is the biggest. You may think your friends, the people you surround yourself with are good people but take a step back, you may find that is not true. This does not mean that all your friends are bad friends, just means that one should observe what happens when they stop putting effort into a friendship
  2. Another thing to get rid of is bad habits. For example, thinking about what people think. This is something that hurts everybody. When one compares himself to someone else they begin to only see the flaws they have and stop focusing on the good.
  3. The last thing is to not ever take all you have, for granted. Being thankful for what you are blessed with is a huge part of finding happiness in yourself and the things around you. Without those things, you wouldn’t be you and you never know when you could lose them.
