What It Takes to be Happy- Steps to Take

  1. Stay well rested. This is an important step to take in being happy because if you do not get enough sleep you will be tired and grumpy which does not make anyone happier.
  2. Know your worth. Knowing your worth is to know you are equal, you are nothing less than anyone else. This always means to not think higher of yourself compared to someone else.
  3. Don’t care so much. Caring about what peers think of you will only damage you and bring you down. It makes you focus on your flaws rather than your specialties. Negativity can be contagious, do not let it spread.
  4. Let go of the past. Dwelling on the past keeps you in the past. To continue growing and learning you have to let that shit go. Things happen, things change and people change. Make peace with it.
  5. Learn from the past. If you do not learn from mistakes you will get nowhere. You have to let go of the past but also learn from it so you can avoid things from happening again. Know what you did wrong, fix it, let go of it and don’t let it happen again. Stay true to your word.
  6. Accept the bad. Life throws a lot of things at us. Sometimes good and sometimes bad. We have to learn how to deal with both. We can not take the good for granted and we can not let the bad break us. Learn to accept it and know it will all be okay in the end.
