The Open Curation Challenge is all about tapping into the collective wisdom of the Ashridge community. We all have inspiring links, resources and toolkits buried in our inboxes, desktop folders and social media streams. Our goal is to bring those golden knowledge nuggets to the surface so that we can all benefit from a dynamic and curated library of book reviews, remarkable links, leadership tools and impact stories.

This is how the challenge works.

  1. Send content to alumni@ashridge.org.uk to join the challenge.
  2. We will acknowledge any contribution you make with a short “Thank You ‘Your Name” for sharing” message that links to your Linkedin profile or personal website.
  3. We plan to host a celebratory awards event at Ashridge House in the summer of 2016.

The three types of content we are looking for…

  1. Remarkable Links. Please include the URL and a short description as to how this article, video or presentation has made an impact to your life and work. You can even write your own article on Medium and then share the link with us on Ashridge Connect Message Board.
  2. Book Recommendations & Reviews. Please include the book name, author and write a short summary as to why this book had an impact to your life and work. You can even write your own article on Medium and then share the link with us on Ashridge Connect Message Board.
  3. Ashridge in Action : Impact Stories & Leadership Tools. Do you have an example (good or bad) of how you have been putting your Ashridge training into practice? Is there a leadership tool that you have been using with your team? Have you experienced a valuable learning or leadership moment, and would like to share your reflections with the wider Ashridge community. Get in touch and we will work with you to shape your article as well as promoting it to the Ashridge community.

At it’s core, The Open Curation Challenge is about igniting a culture of open knowledge sharing across Ashridge. We invite you first of all to think back and pick out the content, books and tools that have served you most in your life and career. Then we challenge you to share that knowledge with us. All you need to do is send a quick email to alumni@ashridge.org.uk. We will then remix, organise, publish, track and reward.

Let’s start a movement…
