The new beginning of the Asia’s prominent startup conference. ‘ASIABEAT Seoul 2017.’ We are looking for brilliant startups who dare to take on a challenge for ‘big one Asian market’

This event will be hosted and organized by Shift. (accelerator), co-organized by Seoul Business Agency , Institute for Information Industry, Taiwan and sponsored by YES24 (YES24.com) and Seoul Metropolitan Government. With the theme of ‘Growing Asian Market,’ the conference is expected to be a venue where Korean and global startups and international investors from Taiwan, China, Japan, Korea, Singapore and Dubai gather together to discuss investment and business opportunities including ones that could open the door to overseas markets. Also, through the Startup Battle and exhibition booths, you will have a chance of winning investments in the form of direct investments or assistance for overseas expansion. This is truly an unparalleled opportunity where you can prove yourself as a promising startup that goes beyond the border of your own country. Any startups are welcome to this competition regardless of their size or sector.

ASIABEAT was first launched in Taipei in Dec. 2014 with the theme of ‘Makes ASIA become a Big One Market’ (hosted by Industrial Development Bureau, MOEA, organized by Institute for Information Industry in Taiwan) and transformed itself into the Asia’s leading global startup conference powered by five Asian countries (Taiwan, China, Japan, Korea and Singapore), based on the new vision of ‘Big One Asian Market.’ The second conference, ASIA BEAT XIAMEN 2016 hosted by Atworks (accelerator) in March 2016, was participated by 80 businesses from 15 countries along with global leading accelerators and angel investors such as ‘Y Combinator’ and ‘500 Startups’ in an effort to debut Asia’s innovative startups on the global stage. This year’s event will serve as a venue to showcase game-changing technologies and businesses and facilitate discussions in search of the Asia’s best innovators.
