Korean Food in Taiwan
While the morning didn’t start with Korean food, we’re pretty happy that our afternoon did. Overall, Korean food in Taiwan is pretty damn good. It didn’t taste exactly like Korea, which is to be expected, but it was the closest to actual Korean food I’ve tasted outside of Korea.
After lunch, we headed to our friend’s scooter shop to finalize the purchase of our new rides. While they aren’t brand new, they are new to us and will serve us well during our stay here in Taiwan. We’ll be making a full introduction video to our scooters later on, but here is a little preview of them below.
Speaking of scooters, what motorized mode of two-wheel transportation isn’t complete without a little protection? Although the helmet shop lady was really nice, she did give us a nice glimpse at what “eccentric” looks like in Taiwan.
Once we got our noggins protected, we were dropped off at a multilevel shopping center that had one of the best stores ever created: Daiso. Honestly, it’s hard to walk into a Daiso and not buy stuff, but we held off. We were really just concerned with making a list of stuff we will need for our big move into our new apartment this coming weekend.
Anyway, that was pretty much the end of our day. Tomorrow should hold the actual acquisition of our scooters, a little gym time, and hopefully some Friday night Taiwanese fun.
