Gitcoin Grant Core Round Matching Pool Funder

In alignment with the vision of Gitcoin Grants that empower everyday believers to drive funding toward what they believe matters, Aspecta joins Gitcoin as a core round funder during spring 2023 to support public goods built by stellar open-source software developers worldwide. Aspecta believes in accelerating the growth of next-generation developers and driving innovation. By supporting this core round, we aim to build a more inclusive and equitable Web3 world with Gitcoin.

Featured Round Initiation

Aspecta regards supporting the Gitcoin Grant Program as a long-term commitment. We will continue to support future grant rounds and plans for a featured round to facilitate projects focusing on decentralized identity, AI, user-experience and interoperability & composability advancement.

Vitalize Gitcoin Developer Ecosystem with Aspecta ID

Developer communities are often the breeding ground for new ideas — a strong developer community fosters a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous learning.

To better ignite developers in the Gitcoin ecosystem, a tailor-made Gitcoin Developer Directory/Network Space will be available on Aspecta for verified Gitcoin developers to connect, interact and collaborate on a global scale, based on verifiable credentials regarding skills, building experiences, Gitcoin ecosystem involvement powered by Aspecta ID.

Future potential initiatives on the roadmap include

• Various developer-oriented events/campaigns worldwide while leveraging Aspecta ID to grow Gitcoin & Aspecta’s joint developer community.
• We also see an opportunity for a double-sided integration between Aspecta ID & Gitcoin Passport to advance the interoperability and composability of the decentralized identity ecosystem. Aspecta ID intends to serve as a stamp provider to add another layer of reputation building to Gitcoin passport while Aspecta could also function as an integration partner to embed the stamps into Aspecta ID.
